It’s been cool, crisp and calm in Orkney. The quietness coming from the island slowing down as the colder weather and dark nights are upon us. We are enjoying the slower pace and the beautiful sunsets. Here’s a picture of the sun setting over Scapa Flow, silhouetting the WW2 block ships next to one of the Churchill Barriers.
